During May 2011, Volvo Penta Oceania held their Volvo Penta Dealer Conference.
The Volvo Penta Dealer Conference hosted over 70 Volvo Penta Dealers and Centres from all over Australia at the Sea World Resort on the Gold Coast, QLD. The conference covered everything from new product ranges, product training and an awards ceremony.
A favourite with the attendees was Volvo’s introduction of the increased range of the revolutionary IPS pod drive system which has just got bigger with their new IPS3. This means Volvo has an IPS to suit boats up to 100+ feet and is now gaining much interest from the commercial boat building world.
The new D13 diesel engine for marine leisure, marine commercial and industrial sectors has taken Volvo Penta’s Green Commitment to the next level as Volvo continues to demonstrate it is at the forefront of worldwide efforts to provide cleaner, quieter and more fuel efficient diesel engines.
Volvo Penta is yet again proving ‘Cleaner horse power is Better horse power’.
The Conference rounded off with an awards ceremony where Western Australia was very well represented:
National Volvo Penta Centre of the Year went to Seapower Australia, Fremantle.
WA Volvo Penta Dealer of the Year went to Total Marine, Mandurah.
